THE MISSION

Dear Fam, Well, it's Tuesday morning right now and I am just writing you a quick letter because the internet wasn't working yesterday. I don't really have much time because we have a zone conference at 9:30. This past week was pretty good. It was kind of crazy because I really didn't work with my companion at all. On Monday, I went to Trujillo to teach a family that they have out there. On Tuesday, I stayed in my area with an Elder Jacobs from Utah. My companion Elder Reyes went to work with one of our district leaders in Olanchito until Wednesday in the afternoon. On Thursday, I went with Elder Hesson to go get a birth certificate, about 2 and a half hours away on the beach called Santa Fe, for a family that is going to get married. On Friday, we had interviews with President Ochoa. I had a really special interview. President told me the Lord has a lot of blessings in store for the Colon Zone. He told me the mission isn't always easy. The Lord will try us. He tol...

HONDURAS

To the Greatest Fam, How is everyone doing? Sounds like everyone is really busy. That is really good. Time just keeps flying by. I cant believe another week just passed by. We are already in the month of March. That scares me. Anyways, this week was a little wild. All of Tocoa flooded this week. It rained 3 days straight and the rivers rose up and flooded everything. The water was about half an inch away from entering our house. Every neighborhood below my house was flooded. The water was as deep as my height. My backyard was a running river. I thought it was pretty cool. There were little kids inside of old refrigerators going down the river in the streets. The local churches here in Tocoa opened up for people to stay, and they brought all kinds of clothes and food. People that didn’t even get flooded out got hooked up with food and clothes. ...

GREAT STUFF

Dearest Family, How is everyone doing? Well this past week was just an awesome week for me. I really don’t have much time because it' s past 8 o’clock and I have to get going. On Wednesday, we had a Multi-Zone Conference with Elder Clark, of The Seventy. It was the most awesome conference I have ever been a part of. I love that man. He is so full of energy and just tells things how they are, and how they should be, with the Spirit. There are so many chosen people all over the world just waiting for the Gospel. We just have to open are mouths and talk to everyone about this wonderful work, and fear no man. This last week was really amazing for the zone. We had 21 in the zone with a baptismal date, but only 13 got baptized this first weekend. This upcoming weekend, we have over 30 possibilities. The Lord has really been blessing the whole zone lately. And Satan has been working extremely hard. He knows our goals, he knows our plans, and he knows the vision we have for a 100 souls to...
