HOLA FROM HONDURAS

Dear Family,  Well, looks like the internet is the fastest way for you to get my letters. But, I will still hand-write some. About 3 days ago, I got some of your letters that you wrote me when I was in the MTC...from Mom, Becca, Dad, etc..They were dated like the 10th of November, and one was like the 17th. Anyways, to answer all your questions, well some, it cost five limps (about 25 cents) for one half hour on the internet...it's 19 limps to the dollar. And I am really running low on limps right now. We don't get that much here. From what I have heard, the missionaries don't get paid that much for food and personal needs. The members really don't feed us that much except for on Sunday. Well, here we eat baleadas like every day. It is a tortilla with beans and this white cream stuff...if you're rich, you might throw a little egg on them. I don't think I am losing weight yet, but I don't know...I don't have a scale. And yes, I am working out every morn...

DEAR FAMILY

Dear Family, How are you all doing? Things are going great here in Tela. We had our first baptism on Saturday. We baptized a 17-year-old boy who we found my second day here. It was really awesome to see him change his ways and want to be baptized. He really is great. Lately, we have found a lot of people and families who are really interested in and excited to hear our message. Everybody we talk to, we invite them to repent of their sins and be baptized into Christ's Church, cuz that's how Preach my Gospel teaches it. They really stress that here...to be bold. I love it. The Spanish is coming along. I can understand pretty much everything in the lessons, but I struggle just talking to people. I am trying my hardest everyday to get better and learn more. I love talking to the people. The little kids here are so funny. They think I am so funny...I don't think they have ever seen such a big Gringo with white hair. My Companion is great. He is teaching me new things every day...
