Tony's mission to Honduras

Dear Family, How is everyone doing? Well, this week another month passed by in my mission. The time is running out too fast. I think I will ask for a year extension here in Honduras. Thank you so very much for all the letters. Well, this week flew by again. We were traveling once again. We went to La Cieba for a multi-zone conference and for interviews. The conference was amazing. President Ochoa is awesome. He will be an apostle some day. He speaks with so much power, it just makes your whole body start to tingle. He shared some really powerful stories with us, and invited us all to get on our knees again and ask the Lord if the Book of Mormon is true, and ask for another powerful answer from God. As he was inviting us, I felt such a great feeling inside, the Spirit was so strong. After the conference, we had our interviews. I had a good spiritual interview with Prez Ochoa. Dear Family, Sorry this is going to be a short one. I really don’t have a lot of time today. Oh, and just a couple things before I forget. If you could send me a picture of when I got baptized, that would be awesome. And also, I need  contacts. So, if you could send me some as soon as possible, that would be great. And the 250 dollars that was taken out of my account...Can you put that back in? I want to buy a camera to start taking pictures of my baptisms that we are having. My new companion doesn’t have a digital camera. Well, this week was full of travelling. Tuesday night, at 2:00 in the morning, we had to wake up and go to a Zone Leaders' Conference in San Pedro that started at 9:00 AM on Wednesday. It was a fun little Conference. It was the last time I saw one of my best friends that I made in the mission from Guatemala. He is going home this change, and they don’t go to change meeting, because the Latinos leave three days earlier. The Conference and the food was really goo...

Dear Family, Well, I hope everyone enjoyed a happy new year back home. Sorry I didn’t write last week, there were no internet places that were open. Well, these last few weeks have been some really amazing weeks of my mission. I will have to say this was the funnest, most spiritual, rewarding December I have had in my life. The Lord really blessed us, our zone, and all of our people we are teaching. We ended up baptizing 55 souls as a Zone in December! That was the most baptisms in the mission. Our hard work and a lot of sacrifices were so worth it...seeing families and more people enter the waters of baptism this past month. About two weeks ago, we baptized a family in the ocean. It was great. It was a really fun and a spiritual experience. The 29th of December, we also baptized an awesome family of 4 in the river here in my area. They are the Familia Rosales. This family had a lot of difficulties. They really weren’t sure about getting baptized or married. We were praying so hard a...
