Tony's mission to Honduras

Dear Family, To answer Dad's questions from last week, before I forget. I might need a couple of more shirts. If you send some shirts, send me some 16 1/2" neck size, athletic fit, and the kind of material that I like (not the thick kind). Yes my neck has gotten smaller. And as for my shoes…my Doc Martins are still holding up pretty good. They have a little hole in them, but I am going to use them until they die completely. And about a week ago, I took out about 2,500 lempiras to pay for the phone bill. But, I will get that money back. I am getting some new pants to wear. Well, this week has been a little crazy. I have been out of the area traveling everywhere...visiting other areas to pick up birth certificates for upcoming marriages. This upcoming week, is going to be fun too. Hello to Everyone out there!  Well, this week was amazing. We all went to San Pedro Sula for a Big Conference. The whole mission went to this Conference. We met in the biggest church building that there is in San Pedro. It was only the second time in over three years that the mission has been all together for a Conference. The last time was last year in March when Elder Richard G. Scott came. So we had a really huge Conference. At the beginning of the Conference, we started with some testimonies, and I got to go up and share my testimony, and share with everyone how our Zone reached our goal in December. I told everyone that we didn’t do anything. The Lord did it all. I told everyone, we just did our part to keep the covenant that we made with the Lord at the beginning of the month, and that the Lord worked the miracles. I said that our goals we make are more than just numbers. They are covenants we make with the Lord. I bore my testimony of the power and truth of this work. I lo...

Dearest Family, This week was awesome. We didn’t have very many baptisms in the zone, but the Lord is preparing millions. I want to tell you all about our week before, but I don’t know where to start.  Monday was really awesome. We had P-day, then we had a zone conference (last zone meeting before changes which are Wednesday) So at 6:00, we had the conference. To start the conference, I had my companion take the whole zone and go eat dinner at a chicken place. I stayed behind with Elder Schmidt and filled 300 hundred water balloons, and put all the balloons in small garbage cans and went and hid them outside. Everybody came back at around 6:45. And they all asked what we had been doing. I told them preparing a little surprise/gift for the zone. So we started the conference in the church at about 7:15. We sang, prayed, and then we talked about all the possibilities we had in the zone and our new goals. We then had a story time. We all shared an experience that we have had in our l...

Dear Family, Before I forget, Mom, my contacts are dying, well, they are dead, but I still use them. And also, if you want to be nice, will you send me some magic tricks? The little kids are dying here for new magic, and I don’t got anything else. And I can't use cards. So yeah, and thanks to all who have written me. Just so everyone knows I can only write to my family, but this letter can be forwarded to others. Give me your home address if you want me to write a personal letter. You might not get a letter for a long time though, because I am super super busy right now. Anyways, This week was absolutely amazing....Ended out finishing the month completing our goal of 47, and we are The Celestial Zone again. We ended up baptizing 48. We are only the second Zone that has ever been Zona Celestial two times in a row. The other Zone that did it, was my last Zone when I was there for two changes with my kid.
