Dear Fam, How is everybody doing? Thanks again for your wonderful letters. I enjoyed every one of them...even the forwards telling me David and Kira's new phone number. Well, this past week has been pretty sweet. We found this new family about a week and a half ago...I can't remember if I told you, but they are awesome. We are going to marry them this week and baptize them on Saturday. So, this upcoming week should be another fun one. Also, last week we fasted to find another great family. And in my personal prayers, I was also praying that we could find someone to cook for us. Well, about a day and a half ago, I talked to this man on the bus, and pretty much taught him the first lesson. He then asked me if we could come to his house to teach his family. Usually, the people on the bus that we talk to don’t live in our area, so those contacts often become references for other missionaries. But, this time, when I got his address, surprisingly he lived in our area. I really didn...

HOLA FAM

Dear Family, Sounds like everyone is doing great. Thanks for your letters this week. I am sending like all my pictures that are on this new disc, but I am sending them through Microsoft word to see if you guys get them. That will be nice if you tell me in your next letter. I hope you get them, there are some good ones. Especially of the Hondo toilets. If you get that one, don’t they just look pleasing. Haha. I'ts so great here. He was so happy when he arrived and there was a whole bunch of members there for his baptism. The next day, which was Sunday, we taught a Gospel Principles class for new members and investigators. When we were going around the room sharing the best experience of our life, and when it was Jose’s turn, he just went on and on about his baptism...tears came to my eyes. I...

HOLA FAM

Dear Family, How is everybody doing? Things are going great here in Los Morelos. We had the opportunity to listen to every session of General Conference. We had to travel to Villanueva to where it was being broadcast. We also had a miracle happen, so we could listen to it. The Sunday morning session is usually the only session all the members can go to because nobody has cars...each ward has to take a busload to the Stake Center in Villanueva. Well, when we arrived, about 45 minutes before the Conference was supposed to start, we came to find out that the electrical company had shut off all the power in the Church. Satan was trying to work through the power company. So, there we were in the church, with every member of the stake, a whole ton of investigators from every area, and no General Conference. The leaders went and got a generator (I have no clue from where), but they tried to get that going. We couldn't get anything to work. I said about five different prayers, asking the...
