HOLA
Hola Family!
Here are some photos for
you all to look at: 1. Jose Omar. He is 17, and he was my first baptism. He is a really great kid. He comes around with us on Sundays and teaches with us. He wants to serve a mission here in two years. 2. This is in the area of the Hermanas with a whole bunch of black kids. They are awesome. They speak two languages...and some three (including English). 3. Me on a rock calling Tela to repentance...No, just kidding...Just a hill where some people live that we teach. 4. This was just yesterday. We went and taught a family up in the mountains. These two boys, that are 12 and 13, came with us. They love me. They are so funny. 5. These kids always give me thumbs up when I walk by.
We taught their family, but they weren't progressing. Really funny kids. 6. Me and a little kid that is always playing by this little bridge, every Sunday when we take this old black lady the Sacrament. 7. This is on a huge dock out in the ocean in Tela. Those guys behind me are fishing with a little piece of wood and a bunch of fishing line around the wood. They fish all day just to feed their family. 8. These bananas they cook in the oven or in boiling water. Afterwards, they taste like potatoes. Good stuff. 9.These are mini bananas...about the size of your finger. They are so good. 10. KFC opened up in Progresso where all of our meetings are held. That was a great day. 11. Just a nice glance of Honduras! 12. This is a bird that lives here in Tela. Pretty sweet huh? It can speak better Spanish than someone who has had two years of High School Spanish!
13. This is the Pila, where we wash our clothes. A lot of times we don't have water to shower, so we use this. Pretty clean, huh? Actually, it was pretty dirty that day. It usually is a little cleaner.
Well, l gotta go. I don't have any more time. Hope you all have a great week! Thank you for the letters. Love, Elder Lee
