HOLA FROM HONDURAS
Dear
Fam,
I
don't have much time to write today. Actually I only have ten minutes because I
have been reading your letters and opening photos forever. So, I will just talk
about the highlights of the week. This past Saturday, we baptized Franklin (the
guy we just married) in a river. It was a crazy day...we didn’t have water, and
we couldn’t get a hold of anyone, so we took him to the river, sang hymns, and
said a prayer. We gave talks and then baptized him. It was really awesome. We
have had some really crazy days this past week. Friday and Saturday we only
taught one lesson cuz we were running all over the place. We had to go to San
Pedro to help the Zone Leaders out with this wedding they were having, and a
whole bunch of other crazy stuff. But it was fun. I like crazy days sometimes.
Well this last Sunday, we had four investigators in Church. This Saturday, we
are hoping to marry a couple, and baptize the Sister with her daughter cuz the
husband is already a member. We also have another new couple that attended Church,
and we are hoping to get them to Church another time, and marry them soon. We
also are planning on marrying Jesus and Maria Arengtina, a couple that we have
been working with for a while. We are going to marry them and baptize Maria
because Jesus is a member. So yup, that’s all we have been up to
lately...teachin', marryin', and baptizin'! Thank you all for your letters and
support. Happy Fathers Day, Dad. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me.
There is a letter coming. Have a great week. Love you all. Love, Elder Lee
Here are some pictures: 1-2. We married Franklin and Yami (member) about 3 weeks ago. It was awesome to get him baptized after two years of missionaries working with him. 3. Me walking to Real Del Puente...a residential area. For Honduras, it is a rich colony.
