FAMILY

Dear Family,
This week has been a really great week. Monday, I went and worked in another area called Coyales with another Elder from our Zone. Then on Tuesday, I went to their District Meeting, which was way out, then I came back into Tocoa, got some stuff from my house, and I went on another division with Elder Panalba in Agaun. We went and visited some families they are having troubles with. Everything went awesome though. One of the families are going to get married now, this Friday, and baptized on Saturday afternoon. Anyways, then on Wednesday, we went to a Zone Leader Conference in San Pedro. We had to wake up at 1:30 in the morning to catch a bus to make it there by 8:30. It was an awesome little conference. We were there till about 2:00 in the afternoon. Then, after the conference, the AP came back, all the way to Colon with me, to do a four-day division. It was pretty sweet. My companion stayed with the other AP in San Pedro till Saturday.  On Saturday in the afternoon, we had 2 baptisms. Then on Sunday, my companion came back from San Pedro.  We baptized a 21-year-old kid named Francisco, and a 40-year-old guy named Domingo. They are really cool guys and are going to be great members of the church here in Tocoa. They both were really excited for their baptisms. Then afterwards, you should have been there to see their smiles. So next week, we have another baptism. We are going to baptize another man named Miguel Angel. He is the first man I ever talked to here in Tocoa. My first day here, we were waiting for the senior couple missionaries in the park, and I saw a man sitting on a bench, so I went up and talked to him. And he just happened to be way ready to receive the Gospel. Next week, we will also be baptizing Domingo´s son. Also, we have a family of 8 that went to church this past Sunday, that we found last week, that are preparing to get baptized. We also have a family of 6. They just need to go to church next week, and we will have their baptisms the following Saturday. So I am really excited. The Lord is blessing us like crazy here. He is blessing our Zone with wonderful families right now, who are just ready for the Gospel. The missionary work is going wonderful. I am loving it more than ever!  I have learned that really I am nothing, and if we want miracles to happen, we have to depend on the Lord, and not on ourselves. He is the one that makes things happen. The key to missionary work is being humble, relying on the Lord for everything, and always do what Jesus would do. When someone is always doing their best to become like Christ, miracles start to happen in their lives. I love my Savior...He is my new best friend...Jesus Christ. I would do anything to help him in this wonderful work. Missionary work is so great. The time is flying by too fast. Seems like yesterday I was just in the MTC watching the Christmas devotional. Well, I have to run. Thanks for the letters. Too bad for the football team huh?  Another tuff finish for the Eagles. Got to always look back and find the positive things, and get better because of them. Football is a great game isn’t it? Well I gotta run. I love you all and hope you all have a great week. Love, Elder Lee
