A LITTLE LETTER

Dear Family,
Sorry this is going to be a short one. I really don’t have a lot of time today. Oh, and just a couple things before I forget. If you could send me a picture of when I got baptized, that would be awesome. And also, I need  contacts. So, if you could send me some as soon as possible, that would be great. And the 250 dollars that was taken out of my account...Can you put that back in? I want to buy a camera to start taking pictures of my baptisms that we are having. My new companion doesn’t have a digital camera. Well, this week was full of travelling. Tuesday night, at 2:00 in the morning, we had to wake up and go to a Zone Leaders' Conference in San Pedro that started at 9:00 AM on Wednesday. It was a fun little Conference. It was the last time I saw one of my best friends that I made in the mission from Guatemala. He is going home this change, and they don’t go to change meeting, because the Latinos leave three days earlier. The Conference and the food was really good. In the Conference, President had me stand up and bear my testimony, and share with all the Elders how we did it out there in Colon in the month of December. So that was kind of fun. After the Conference, it was a long ride home. We got home at about 10 o’clock. We made our phone calls and hit our beds. Friday, I went out to Trujillo to do some baptismal interviews and help the Elders out there. That was really fun. I love that place. Everyone is black and they are all way nice. We found a lot of new investigators over there too. This last Sunday, we had a lot of new investigators that went to Church. It was really great. After Church, we did the tithing report, and did a whole bunch of forms with the Branch President. I don’t know if I told you this, but I am the 1st Counselor and my Companion is the 2nd Counselor to the President here in this Branch. Sundays, we don’t go out and work until about 5:00 in the afternoon. Anyways, this week was really fast and fun. Hope you all have a great week. Love you all. Love, Elder Lee

Dear Dad, How are you? This email is just to answer some of your questions. So Chris is going to be down here on Monday. I don’t think anybody I know here in my area would be able to get him from the airport. Nobody has a car and the ones that do have a car are working during the daytime. So I don’t know what he can do. And as for working with me on Monday and Tuesday, that would be awesome. Only Monday we don’t go out and work until 6:00. So maybe he would want to meet up with us Tuesday. I am going to see if it is okay with President. But where is he going to sleep? He won’t be able to sleep in our house. Is he going to rent a car?   What are his plans? We have interviews with President on Wednesday… I will talk to prez. Yes Brother Butts is back in Honduras now. You can call him. Lee Family, How is everyone doing? Well, I will have a little more time to write today since there was only Dad's letter waiting for me. So, how did the Oregon Coast treat you guys? I can't believe a year has past since I graduated. That was one of the fastest years ever. The time is flying by so fast. This past week has been kind of weird seeing everyone saying goodbye to Elder Khan, and seeing him prepare to go back home. I don't want those days to come too soon for me. My Comp is a little nervous about going back home. He says he wouldn't mind another month in the mission with me in this area. These last couple of days he has been kind of baggie and has been talking about home a lot. Last night we were up late talking. Tuesday night we are going to be eating like crazy. Everybody wants to feed us their best baleadas and food right before Elder Khan leaves, so food-wise we have been doing alright lately. PHOTOS; NEW AREA; NEW COMP

  1.   My new Comp with a nice little sunset 2.  This is my area. To the left (you can't see the house) is the Familia Martinez.  They are the ones who have been attending Church for three months.  They finally decided this week to get married. 3.  Here I am in my new area. We are dumping out Gieovanni´s coffee.   He his going to get married and baptized this upcoming weekend. 4.  My new Comp and Me today on some little bridge nearby our area.  5.  This is the couple we married Friday.  She speaks a little English. She is part black.  There are a lot of black people here. They are Garifunas. I don't know what it is, but a ton of little black kids here have hair that is sun bleached. It's very interesting.  I am thin ki ng my hair will get really white here. 6.  The Zona Celestial.
