WEDDINGS, BAPTISMS, AND A BAD NOSE

Dearest Family,
I am going to make this short because we have to go and eat. I just got back from San Pedro Sula. My companion and I went in there at about 6:30. I went to the Doctor because I am having some problems with my nose. One side of of my nose has swelled up and it hurts really, really bad. It's not really noticeable, but it is something I have never had or felt before. It makes my head hurt also. It's hard to think, and when people talk, it feels like they are screaming. It's been like this for about 3 or 4 days. I tried to be a man and tough it out with some ibuprofen pills. The mission doctor told me to take ibuprofen pills of 800 MG about 3 days ago. But they didn't do anything. So today the doctor told me he thinks it's something that was in the water that got up my nose. He wrote me a prescription to get some antibiotics. He also gave me some cream to stick up my nose with a q-tip. Don't worry though, I am still alive, walking, teaching, and breathing. This last week was a pretty good one. We had the weddings and the baptisms. I will send some pictures and write more next week when I can think straight. Pray for my nose, so it will get better, please. I don't want to get a nose job here in Honduras. Thank you all for you letters, and prayers. Have a great week.

Dear Dad, How are you? This email is just to answer some of your questions. So Chris is going to be down here on Monday. I don’t think anybody I know here in my area would be able to get him from the airport. Nobody has a car and the ones that do have a car are working during the daytime. So I don’t know what he can do. And as for working with me on Monday and Tuesday, that would be awesome. Only Monday we don’t go out and work until 6:00. Lee Family, How is everyone doing? Well, I will have a little more time to write today since there was only Dad's letter waiting for me. So, how did the Oregon Coast treat you guys? I can't believe a year has past since I graduated. That was one of the fastest years ever. The time is flying by so fast. This past week has been kind of weird seeing everyone saying goodbye to Elder Khan, and seeing him prepare to go back home. I don't want those days to come too soon for me. My Comp is a little nervous about going back home. He says he wouldn't mind another month in the mission with me in this area. These last couple of days he has been kind of baggie and has been talking about home a lot. Last night we were up late talking. Tuesday night we are going to be eating like crazy. Everybody wants to feed us their best baleadas and food right before Elder Khan leaves, so food-wise we have been doing alright lately. PHOTOS; NEW AREA; NEW COMP

  1.   My new Comp with a nice little sunset 2.  This is my area. To the left (you can't see the house) is the Familia Martinez.  They are the ones who have been attending Church for three months.  They finally decided this week to get married. 3.  Here I am in my new area. We are dumping out Gieovanni´s coffee.   He his going to get married and baptized this upcoming weekend. 4.  My new Comp and Me today on some little bridge nearby our area.  5.  This is the couple we married Friday.  She speaks a little English. She is part black.  There are a lot of black people here. They are Garifunas. I don't know what it is, but a ton of little black kids here have hair that is sun bleached. It's very interesting.  I am thin ki ng my hair will get really white here. 6.  The Zona Celestial.
