TO THE FAM FROM HONDO

Dear Fam,
Well this is going to have to be fast. It is Tuesday and I have no time. Yesterday we had to move houses, so I didn’t have time to write. Wasn’t Conference way awesome this weekend? I was on the edge of my seat listening the whole time. It was probably the Best General Conference that I can remember. It went by way fast. I remember back in the days when Conferences would just drag on forever. After the first session on Saturday some of our Zone and I went and ate at Pizza Hut. That was really fun. And Sunday, between sessions we had three baptisms at the Stake Center in our Zone. I had to interview an old Grandma named Rosa that is 88 years old. She was way so cute how she answered all the baptismal questions. Anyways, this Saturday, we are going to baptize a 39-year-old man named Ramon. We were teaching his brothers about three weeks ago, but they weren’t progressing…so then we found him, and we have been teaching him for about two weeks now. He went to Priesthood Session Saturday, attended the Sunday conference, and he loved both. Anyways, this week went by superfast…with meetings every single day of the week. Anyways I have to get going. Oh, and my area is pretty much part of central San Pedro. My area starts about two streets below the San Pedro Central Park where the Catholic Cathedral is.  I need to know when Chris’ plane gets here. I asked President about him seeing me and being with me on Monday and Tuesday, but he didn’t really give me an answer. He pretty much gave me a “We will see” answer. So I really don’t know. But on Monday, I have a place to stay for Chris. In the last house I was living in, we lived with a guy named Eding Lazo. He served in Guatemala about four years ago. He said Chris could stay at his brother’s house, and he said on Monday, he wants to take Chris around San Pedro and invite him over to eat. Well, I gotta run. Have a good day.
Love, Elder Lee
